12 January 2012
One of the oldest and most popular Pantos of all time, Mother Goose tells the story of an old woman, a magical goose and the quest for youth and beauty. With a strong lesson that wealth and beauty do not mean happiness, this show, featuring a huge cast of over 60 is as fitting now as it was when it was first performed in England over 100 years ago. Directed by Alan Corcoran, with the help of musical director Mairead McKenna and choreographer Áine Kavanagh, tickets for the show, which runs for 9 performances, have already been selling well in the run up to Christmas. Bookings will reopen on Friday, January 6 at Gorey Little Theatre, ahead of the opening night on January 13. Tickets for the matinee shows are in high demand and selling fast so book early. Tickets are priced between €10 and €12. Call the theatre for further information on 053 94 21474 or 087 989 0532 between 2-5pm for bookings.
